I understand you all have been waiting long time for this and it is finally here. I took a bit of time to rest from all faculty obligations during this weekend and decided to update this script.

At least for me it looks like ages since last update more then month ago on 5.12.2009.

This is very small update that eliminated several not so much usuful feature. And corrected but regarding drop down menu. Also I have applied correction to css. So that we can use nice layout gameforge provided and do I need to say that they stole my idea regarding drop down list.

And what did I got for that ban from server and not even thank you I mean shame on you gameforge.

I am again collecting bugs, reports and ideas. But I think that most of things for none-premiums is corrected with update of drop down menu.

Just for the sake of argument here you can see how list looks now.

Note that I have deleted settlement names coordinates and continents. Just to be sure gameforge doesn’t get crazy ideas again.

Kingsage defense simulator

Yesterday, I was wandering what would be the best defense no matter resources. And from that initial idea I developed this very simple application that may be used for optimizing your defensive structure.

On the right side you may see that program allows input of population, by default population is set to maximum number of soldiers in case settlement is fully built.

Also application allows input of existing units. After you click on Start sim button you will in fact see that other units were filled in to maximize that is optimize defense points. Usually, you will see higher defense points for archers because of my assumption that squires are best unit to defend against cavalry and archer units. Meanwhile, the most useful unit for defense against infantry is considered to be archer.

After simulation ends you will also be able to see how much resources is needed for gaining that many units.

If you have any suggestion or idea that might be fitted into this program please feel free to suggest.

To run application download rar file. Unrar this folder and run KAdef.jar in case something is wrong and you cannot start application check if you have java installed.

P.S. Please put requests ideas and similar for other scripts and apps available on axino.net in their respective folders.

Since, after several months if I am not wrong gameforge decided to update kingsage I as well decided to provide update for Kingsage Farmer.

Feature Added: Settings button now works and opens settings

Feature Added: Now you will be able to change time which script waits to check status of soldiers. Limit is 5 seconds and you cannot set up less then 5 seconds. More is available. I for example am using settings at 25 seconds.

Feature fix: Sending soldiers was corrupted after last attack but it is now fix. And sending soldiers works.

Feature fix: Buttons didn’t work correctly now this should be fixed. For example after clicking one button you had to refresh page before you were able to click it again.

That is all for now. If there are no big updates to kingsage you may expect new update of script somewhere after new year. Though I didn’t have time to check on KingsageX somehow Farmer recieved priority.

Well, instead of searching for ladies in the clubs, pubs and other places one may find them. I spent my Friday and Saturday night programming. And here is result of some 10 to 12 hours work.

Very simple and not that smart farmer, yet very useful for everyone .

Before you start writing about bugs. Please read very carefully:

Two buttons settings and on hold currently do not have any functions. To start farming please first add some farms. There is add farm button in the info page of every village. However, if you find yourself in problem. So you clicked on button but nothing happened that just means that you should go and disable all other scripts, you may enable them later on but there is some conflicts I haven’t yet resolved.

When you add few farms you may go and check them in the drop down menu by clicking on farms.

And that is all. Current time between refreshes is 10 seconds.

This farmer is not yet that smart well it is only able to follow list and go in circles. After list is complete it will continue from beginning.

Each attack will consist out of 100 soldiers.

That’s all folks. It is 4 in the morning and I am going to sleep. Though I have strange feeling that this text is a bit strange

OK there were a lot of bugs reported since the last version and its been more then two weeks since the last version. So I’ve decided to revise the code and make necessary changes. First of all auto-attacking functions from KingsAgeX are out. Soon I will publish new script that will have single function and that will be auto-attacking. Now let me explain why I have decided on such step. Because KingsAgeX from the beginning was intended as extension of already available functions in kingsage.org and later other servers.

If you were wandering why is there X in the name it was intended as eXtends. However, over the course of time and more and more functions being added into the script it is getting a bit clouded and so I made decision to split functionality and put auto-attacking function in completely separate script and project. Reasons are many but the biggest one is that auto-attacking feature is robust and large and because it is maneuvering trough several web pages there is possibility that in some future update problems might arise. On the other hand having it separated will make it easier for me to update both scripts. Not that my good habit of writing comments for each line of code helped . Soon I will publish auto-attacking script. I know you anxiously await. Probably during end of next week or beginning of week after next one!

All that being said, I would also like to ask someone with preferably good writing scripts to write short how to guide in hopes to explain functionality of the script. Of course if you are having site link would be provided or some kind of reference will surely be provided. This is not my idea but the problem is that something obvious to me as script writer is not obvious to someone else as script user. And with this I would like to fix the gap between the two. Simple, example of this is the usage of buttons in castle view because many people figure that things should be inversed.

And before you check changes from previous version. Is drop down list neccessery for the premium version? Now that administrators have stolen my idea and provided this as premium feature.

Feature added: Showing currently selected option for settlement name shortener and drop down list jumping to the same view.

Feature added: Because none premiums couldn’t see options in castle view I’ve decided to add another set for checking whether user has premium or not. So if you do not see options in castle view go to profile->settings->basic settings and click no premium.

Bugfix: Alert that jumped each day saying that there is new version of the script. This will not happen anymore. Now every 25 hours script will check if there is new version.

Bugfix: Options in castle view are now shown correctly for premium users instead overlapping production list.

Bugfix: Runtime calculator wasn’t working for premium users now its fixed. and works.

Feature removed: Auto-attacking executions

Well, as we are approaching to 5,000 installations I have added some new functions corrected old ones optimized some and such. I hope that auto-attacker will work out and you are going to like it. Currently it is for testing only but if you have any additional suggestions or bug reports then please do report it in comments.

Feature added: In the info village page. That is the one that is opened when you click on certain village in the map mode. Two buttons are added Xmap and XXLmap these buttons allow you to open extended or XXL map respectively with the village you were observing as centered.

Feature added: Auto updater. When there is new version of this script then you will be notified and asked whether you would like to update this script. It checks once a day whether there is new version so don’t worry if you don’t get notice ASAP. However, I would like to notice that this solution is not my.

Feature Added: Time calculator for all units added to the village info page.

Feature Added: In time calculator row for counts warning will be shown in case you are watching village that is more then 70 fields away.

Feature Added: Additional panel for showing delayed attacks.

Feature Added: Auto-attacker this is for testing purposes only and it only works with squires in one town. This is not intended to be used in real combat yet. But all suggestions and bugs you might have found are welcomed.

Bugfix/Feature added: As there were some complains that Firefox would get a bit slow after using extend/XXL map I have optimized process a bit and now it shouldn’t slow down Firefox. Also noteworthy is that this will not speed up loading of maps, gameforge’s servers and your bandwidth are responsible for the speed of loading including speed of your home computer but not as much.

Bugfix: Yes/No buttons for choosing premium now enable or disable if clicked. Otherwise they just locked disabled.

Feature Removed: Points showing inline, since one is only able to see points on his rank page. Also options for this feature were removed.

This update is minor as it fixes only drop down menu and options in castle. But since no premiums offered help I am not sure whether this thing works on premium account. But it was tested on none-premium and works for now

Bugfix: All options in castle are now working and accept changes. Another thing is that points in-line stopped working so I will try to fix this in some future update if it is possible of course.

Well, as I have been saying this project is not abandoned but delayed for short time. For all of you that didn’t believed me here is proof.

You may notice that there is gap in versions it is because of several changes and bugfixes that were completed. And therefore I decided to increase number to distinguish more. Now you may also find in caption of script for which version of kingsage was script written. I’ve made decision to proceed like this due to differences between versions of kingsage and because progression of new versions is not simultaneous on all servers.

Also notice that there were no changes on drop box and updates for drop box. This is because I do not have access to any account with multiple settlements. Bugfix: Problems that occurred with options being hidden behind other things in settlement overview are now fixed.

Bugfix: Problems with entering coordinates for extended map are corrected. These occurred on rare occasions if another script was used next to KingsageX

Bugfix: Problem with showing only one map in XXL map.

Bugfix: When extended map was used on displays with smaller diagonal people didn’t get nicely organized maps but instead they saw maps falling one below another. Corrected now. this same bug was corrected on XXL map.

Bugfix: XXL map blocking while loading. Though this might happen on some elder computers on stronger machines it should work just fine, notice that you will have to wait some time for map to be generated.

Feature Added: XXL map options in the main building

Feature Added: XXL map that shows now 25 concurrent maps allowing one to perceive range as large as: 64*69 really LARGE tactical advantage in wars
